In Germany I work with
Taucherland, Castrop-Rauxel
and Active Dive, Ettenheim both PADI 5 Star IDC Training facilities, one in the South of Germany the other in the middle. Of course an IDC in Germany with its lakes and the famous German wheather is different from warmer Areas: But for those who want to teach in a lake environment like Germany, Switzerland or even England it is a perfekt choice. You learn from the beginning how teaching will be in real life. I strongly recommend a drysuit for open water.
For those who like diving in the sea and in a bit warmer environment I offer my IDC programs with
Kassandra Dive Club - a first class PADI Instructor Development Center in Kassandria, Greece. I always loved the Mediterranean with its diversity of species and its clear water. Above all the moved history of the Mare Nostrum did it to me. And in my opinion the mediterrane culture offers everything one can only wish: crowdy places and lonely beaches, a healthy light kitchen, things to see for each taste. Briefly: here everybody can find something that makes him happy. And all this only two hours by plane away from home.
Here You will find a perfectly developed infrastructure for divers. And the conditions are almost perfect: crystal-clear water, bizarre underwater landscapes, sensational caves are only a few things to mention. The water temperatures move between approx. 10 - 15 degrees in wintertime up to 25 degrees during the summermonth. Therefor a semidry suit or a dry suit are a good choice when you plan to do longer dives.
The Mediterranean is a perfect location for deep diving, search & recovery, night diving, drysuit diving and much much more. It is hard to find a PADI Specialty Instructor course for which we cannot find ideal conditions here.
